“We must rediscover our mojo” Under pressure Byekwaso rallies his charges

Under pressure Express FC head coach Morley Byekwaso has demanded his team rediscover their mojo against visiting Blacks Power under the floodlights at the Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
Byekwaso’s men are on a seven-match winless run and last week a section of Express fans called for the coach’s resignation.
Ahead of the contest against Blacks Power, Byekwaso has called on his side to rediscover the form they had at the start of the season.
“We must rediscover the form and performances we had in the opening matches and earn our respect back. The game against Blacks Power is a must-win. They are a stubborn side who play aggressively and are above us on the table, but we must be at our best,” Byekwaso said.
The Red Eagles have only midfielder Nicholas Jjonga on the sidelines, with the rest of the squad available for selection.
The seven-time league champions are in the drop zone with 8 points and face Simon Peter Mugerwa’s side that is in 7th place with 13 points.
“We played well against NEC despite the defeat and we shall build on that performance against Express. We need points as well and I trust my players will go there to win the contest in Nakivubo,” Mugerwa said.
Elsewhere, Vipers host Lugazi FC while Entebbe UPPC visit Ntugasaze at the Kira Road Arena in the other games on Thursday.
