Shamirah Nalugya has completed a move to Dynamo Brest on a one year contract from fellow Beralusian Women’s League side FC Minsk.

The Crested Cranes joins Dynamo Brest as a free agent following the expiry of her short term contract with the Minsk based side.

Nalugya, who joined Minsk last year from Kampala Queens, had an impressive debut season that saw her score seven goals and 13 assists in the 13 games she played.

” Happy to join Dynamo Brest and ready to work together to achieve the very best this Season. LETS GO БРЕСТ.” Nalugya tweeted.

Nalugya who also played for Isra Soccer Academy and Kawempe Muslim locally, is the second Ugandan to play in the Beralusian Women League after Joan Nabirye who also played for FC Minsk.

Nalugya’s new club, Dynamo Brest will be aiming for a better finish next season having finished 5th with 52 points last term.

Dynamo Brest, located in the City of Brest, was founded in 2021 and is currently coached by Mikhnavets Aliaksandr.

The Maxline Beralusian Women’s League consists of 11 clubs with Dinamo Minsk (BSUPC) holding the defending champions status.
