SC Villa seek return to winning ways at Lugazi
David GOMBE
SC Villa will be seeking to return to winning ways when they visit Lugazi FC at Najjembe on Saturday.
The Jogoos drew goalless with Blacks Power in their previous game and will need to make amends against the Leaders.
Zeljko Kovacevic’s men are second on the log with 18 points and will be aiming for maximum points against Ntugasaze to keep pace at the top.
Lugazi on the other hand will be aiming for a response after a 2-1 defeat away to KCCA FC earlier this week.
Abbey Kikomeko’s men will look up to Cromwell Rwothomio, who has so far netted three league goals and scored in the club’s defeat at KCCA, for inspiration.
Villa will hope that Frank Ssebuufu, Ibrahim Kasinde and Patrick Kakande carry their scoring boots to Najjembe.
Kovacevic’s side has dominated this fixture in the recent six meetings in all competitions with four wins and two draws.
