    Police releases statement on Coach Mike Mutebi’s disappearance

    Entebbe Police Station has released a statement regarding the disappearance of legendary KCCA FC coach Mike Hillary Mutebi.

    Mutebi went missing on Saturday, 7th March at Kisubi Beach where he had gone to attend a Catholic Church seminar.

    Police say Mutebi was last seen on Saturday at 6:30Pm and investigations are on regarding the disappearance of the veteran coach.

    “The Police at Entebbe Police Station are investigating the disappearance of Mike Mutebi, who went missing on 07th March 2026 from Kisubi Beach.”

    “Mutebi had attended a Catholic seminar at the beach and was last seen at about 6:30pm as participants prepared to travel back to Kampala. However, upon arrival in Kawempe, he could not be accounted for. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to report to the nearest police station or contact Entebbe Police Station on 0775318345 immediately.” Reads a Statement from Entebbe Police

    Mutebi is also former Uganda Cranes and SC Villa coach his last management job was in Rwanda where he coached AS Kigali in 2022.

    He is the last manager to win a trophy for KCCA in 2019. At KCCA FC, he managed 247 games, winning 152, 56 draws and lost 39 games.

    During his five year spell at KCCA, his side scored 446 goals against 200.
