The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has announced a massive 112-day, UGX 11.5 billion investment plan starting 24th August 2026 to prepare all Uganda’s national teams for a packed international calendar.
From the senior men’s team, Uganda Cranes to the Crested Cranes, and from the Hippos to the Cubs and Rhinos, FUFA is running 7 parallel camps across Africa, Asia, and at home.
The 112-Day Roadmap
Uganda Hippos will head to Tanzania from 24 August for AFCON U20 Qualifiers whils Uganda Cubs will be in Rwanda in September for AFCON U17 Qualifiers, then fly to Qatar in October for the FIFA U17 World Cup.
Uganda Rhinos will make history in Azerbaijan for the FIFA U15 World Cup starting 1st October.
The Uganda Cranes will have double header in AFCON 2027 Qualifiers first away in Tunisia in September, then at home against Botswana in November. Uganda along with Tanzania and Kenya will host the continental showpiece next year that will attract over 28 national teams.
The Crested Cranes will also be in action chasing an Olympic dream with 2028 Olympic Qualifiers
against Zambia in October.
This UGX 11.5BN push will cover both men and women teams preparations for non-stop Uganda football.
Ugandan fans can expect a packed football calendar from late August through mid-December 2026 as the country chases glory on the continental and global stage.
