BUL FC have completed the signing of former Vipers defensive midfielder Frank Katongole on a two year contract.
Katongole joins BUL as a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Vipers SC.
He becomes the umpteenth signing of the Alex Isabirye coached side that has embarked on a rebuilding process following a departure of over 10 squad players last month.
Katongole is a former Uganda Hippos and St. Mary’s Kitende midfielder who graduated to Vipers during the 2023/24 season.
He moves to BUL FC in a bid to earn sufficient playing time having played only eight league games for the Venoms since his promotion to the senior team.
Katongole will compete with George Kasonko, Pascal Ngobi and George Masembe for more playing time at BUL FC.
BUL have so far signed Masembe, Faizo Matovu, Umar Lutalo, Cyrus Kibande, Derrick Byabachwezi and George Kaddu as the new season inches closer.
