KCCA FC will be seeking their maiden win when they host Kataka FC on Wednesday at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

KCCA FC are yet to register maximum points this campaign, losing twice and drawing once in their opening three games.

The Kasasiro Boys played out a goalless stalemate in their last game against new boys Kigezi Homeboyz in Kamwenge.

Desperate for three points, KCCA FC will be boosted by the return of Ibrahim Kasule, who missed the trip to Kamwenge, while forward Emmanuel Anyama has fully recovered from an injury suffered during pre-season and is set to make his first matchday squad appearance of the season.

KCCA FC head coach Brian Ssenyondo’s remarks ahead of the game:

“Our overall setup in the previous match showed progress, but we need to be far more clinical in the final third. Having Ibrahim Kasule back and adding Emmanuel Anyama to the squad gives us attacking options, and we will present ourselves in the best way possible.”

Newly promoted Kataka FC have only managed one point from their opening two matches. They opened their campaign with a goalless away draw against UPDF FC before suffering a 4-1 home defeat to BUL.

    Head to Head

KCCA FC are unbeaten against Kataka in 3 competitive encounters, recording 2 wins, 1 draw, and 0 defeats, scoring 7 goals while conceding just once.
