    Buhimba end eight match winless streak with victory over Maroons

    Buhimba Saints United ended their eight game winless run with a 1-0 victory over Maroons FC at Royal Park Butema.

    Derrick Byabackwezi scored the only goal as Buhimba Saints registered their fourth win of the season.

    The goal came in the 52nd minute and was enough to hand Buhimba Saints United FC all the three points.

    The three victories for Buhimba Saints United FC had come in their three opening games against ( Gaddafi 1-0), (Calvary 2-0) and (Kitara FC 1-0).

    Victory sees Buhimba Saints United move out of the relegation zone as the temporarily occupy the eighth position with 13 points from 12 games.

    The Prison Warders are a position above Buhimba Saints United FC with the same number of points from the same number of games.

    Buhimba Saints United FC will next play Express FC on Friday 23rd- January at Nakivubo Stadium.

    On Wednesday, 21st January, Maroons FC will host KCCA FC in their next game at Luzira Prisons grounds.
