Uganda Premier League record champions SC Villa are strongly considering signing midfielder Hassan Kalega alias Gaata.
Kalega has been having trials at the 17-time league champions for the past few weeks and a move to the club is imminent.
He is currently licensed with Buddu in the prestigious Buganda Kingdom Masaza Cup since he has been unemployed at any club.
It should be noted that the Masaza Cup is the same tournament where Kalega made his name 11-years ago while featuring for his home county Buddu.
During the 2015 Masaza Cup championship, Kalega was named as the Most Valuable Player (MVP). This saw Vipers come crawling for his dear signature.
Kalega has in the topflight division previously played for Vipers SC, Police FC and URA FC and could as well become a Jogoo before the 2026/27 season begins.
