Crested Cranes versatile midfielder Zaina Namuleme has mutually parted ways with Rwandan female champions Rayon Sports WFC.
Namuleme joined Rayon Sports two months ago as a free agent from Kenya Police Bullets ahead of the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers.
Namuleme featured in Rayon’s draw against Mafunzo FC before she was forced off by injury during a comfortable win over Denden FC.
She missed out on the club’s 1-1 draw against South Sudanese side Yei Joint Stars who eventually grabbed the coveted semi final slot as Group Winners.
Namuleme played nine seasons at Kampala Queens and won one league title before joining Makerere University in 2024 and eventually Kenya Police Bullets last year.
She made her Crested Cranes debut in 2016 and captained the team in the most recent CECAFA Women’s Championship in Tanzania last year.
Her immediate destination remains a mystery but this website understands she has had multiple offers from several regional and continental clubs.
