Uganda Premier League entity Police FC has completed the signing of former Vipers defender Nicholas Wadada, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

Wadada has signed a two year employment contract with the Cops this website can reliably confirm.

Wadada brings leadership and experience in the team as well as explosive pace and tenacious defending in the team’s right back position.

He is arguably the most experienced player in the UPL having rose to the scene in 2010 with Vipers (Bunamwaya) a side he had a lengthy spell with but also captained to league triumph in 2015 and 2018.

He had a successful stint with Azam FC in Tanzania before joining Ihefu FC and Singida Black Stars before returning to Vipers in 2024.

The Cops have also strengthened other areas of the squad with the signings of midfielder Siraje Ssentamu from NEC FC, goalkeeper Shukuru Hadji from Calvary, Ivan Mayanja and Rogers Kiwanuka from Maroons, Ojok Junior Emmanuel, Sam Ssekamatte and Najib Fesali among others.
