Vipers JT clinch fourth FUFA Juniors League title

Vipers Junior Team clinched the 2026 FUFA Juniors League title after a 3-2 win over URA JT in the final held at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, on Sunday.
URA JT struck first when Emmanuel Obula gave them an early lead in the 7th minute, tapping home a Pascelo Kayiwa perfect cross.
Vipers captain Ashraf Kyakuwa restored parity in the 28th minute with a cool finish before Jonah Tugume made it 2-1 early in the second half.
Trevor Mubiru extended Vipers’ lead in the 59th minute of the contest.
Anderson Ssesazi scored the second for the Tax Collectors in the 77th minute but it was not enough to deny the Venoms yet another Juniors League title.
Kyakuwa was named as the Most Valuable Player while the Venoms were unbeaten throughout the entire campaign with 20 wins in 21 games.
Vipers Junior Team has now won the title four times following triumphs in 2015, 2018, 2025 and 2026.
