URA and Maroons shared spoils in a four goal thriller on Tuesday at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo. The two played out to a 2-2 draw in a game the visitors led twice but the hosts fought back to earn a point.

Ivan Mayanja gave the visitors the lead in the 22nd minute off Brian Nkuubi’s free kick before the tax collectors levelled matters three minutes later through Bruno Bunyaga.

Mayanja was also the standout performer on Saturday as Maroons FC claimed a 3-1 win over Police, when he was involved in all the three goals.

In the second half, Darius Ojok made a return from the long-term injury with a goal to restore Maroons lead.

Hussein Mbalangu’s men responded once again through former Maroons forward Fred Amaku.

The result leaves Maroons in eighth place on 34 points while URA are a distant 11th with just 25 points from 26 games.

Elsewhere, NEC edged BUL FC 1-0 at Njeru Technical Center while Mbarara City overcame Express FC 2-1 in the other games on Tuesday.
