The round of 64 draw of the 52nd edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup has been held on Wednesday at Protea Hotel in Kampala.
Sheikh Umar Ssenoga a former KCCA FC and Express FC player conducted the draw of the prestigious competition.
The 52nd edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup officially commenced in November 2025, with preliminary rounds conducted across the various FUFA regions nationwide.
This year’s competition attracted widespread participation, with a total of 333 teams registering to take part in this year’s edition compared to last edition, underscoring the continued growth and popularity of Uganda’s most prestigious knock out tournament.
During the draw held on Wednesday, reigning competition champions Vipers SC will travel to Northern Gateway FC while last year’s losing finalists KCCA FC will be away to St.George Masindi FC.
Express FC will lock horns with Pakwach Young Stars whereas SC Villa have been drawn against Pallisa Hospital FC.
Non-league side Football Classroom will host Uganda Premier League side Calvary FC in the round of 64.
The round of 64 ties will be played between 4th February to 10th of the same month.
Vipers beat KCCA FC 2-0 in the first ever match to be played under the lights of FUFA Kadiba Stadium last season.
KCCA FC and Express FC are the joint record competition winners, both on ten trophies while SC Villa have won it nine times.
