SC Villa has revealed the electoral committee that will run the Presidential elections due this month.

The registered SC Villa SC Villa members under the Villa Members’ Trust (VMT) will go to the polls on 22 March to determine the club’s next leadership.

The Electoral Committee will be managed by Brian Kajuba (Chairman) with Brandon Katura and Desire Mukisa serving as members.

During the club’s Annual General Meeting on Sunday, members unanimously decided that everyone who will contest for the club presidency must pay a non-refundable registration fee of Shs 100M.

On the same day, incumbent President Hajji Omar Mandela confirmed that he will be running again, having served the previous term between 2021- 2025.

Farouk Meywa is the other person who has expressed interest in taking over helm at the record league champions while rumours state that Immanuel Ben Misagga is ready to back two other candidates in the bid to dethrone Mandela.

The elections were meant to be held in November last year but were extended amidst disagreements from a section of fans who cited breach of constitution.

While defending the cause for the delay, Mandela stated that they had to postpone the electoral process due to the general elections that were held earlier this year.
