Coach Sadick Ssempigi has announced that he left his role from Uganda Premier League side Kigezi HomeBoyz FC.
Ssempigi who guided the Kabale based side to their first ever topflight promotion has made the announcement on social but did not make any comments on the next step forward.
“On 15th August 2025, I joined Kigezi Homeboyz FC with one objective and it was to secure promotion to the Uganda Premier League. Today, I leave proud that we achieved that goal together”

Kigezi HomeBoyz finished the 2025/26 FUFA Big League season fourth with 51 points collected from 30 games hence a UPL promotion.
Ssemipigi has previously worked with Kampala University, Onduparaka FC, Lugazi FC and Bugerere in the Masaza Cup tournament.
