Ugandan forward Peter Lwasa has joined Angola topflight side GD Desportivo Interclube on a one year contract.
Prior to the move, Lwasa has been featuring for Pamba Jiji in Tanzania, a side he scored three goals and provided three assists for during the course of last season.
The pacy forward had joined Pamba Jiji at the start of the season after an impressive season with Kagera Sugar that saw him score eight league goals.
He is in line to become the first Ugandan player to feature in the Angolan Girabola.
Locally Lwasa featured for URA FC during his early stage of the career and recently KCCA FC in the closing half of 2023/24 season.
He played for Kenya Premier League sides Sofapaka FC, Kariobangi Sharks and Gor Mahia as well as Congolese side Lubumbashi.
His new side Grupo Desportivo Interclube, commonly known as Interclube Luanda, has won the Angolan league on two occasions.
The club finished 7th on the Girabola league table last season with efforts of earning a better finish this upcoming season.
