Only four clubs will enjoy exclusive use of their home stadiums in the upcoming 2026/27 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.

The new campaign will kick off on Friday, 28th August at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende with reigning champions Vipers SC hosting Entebbe UPPC FC, and FUFA has approved ten stadiums to host the expanded 18-team league.

Of the 18 clubs, only Vipers SC (St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende), BUL FC (FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru), Lugazi FC (Lugazi Stadium, Najjembe) and Kataka FC (Bukedea Comprehensive Sports Complex) will not share their home venues.

Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo will host the highest number of clubs this season. URA FC and Express FC, who used the facility last season, will be joined by UPDF FC and Entebbe UPPC FC.

It should be remembered that UPDF’s Bombo Military Grounds and Entebbe UPPC’s Fisheries Grounds in Entebbe failed to pass the FUFA Club Licensing requirements.

Just like in the previous three seasons, MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo will be shared by city rivals KCCA FC and NEC FC.

Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, which did not host topflight football last season due to renovations, returns to host SC Villa and Maroons FC.

Newly upgraded Rwamwanja Stadium in Kamwenge will host Premier League football for the first time with Mbarara City FC and Kigezi Home Boyz FC as tenants.

Kira Police Arena in Kamwokya will be home to Police FC and debutants Ntugasaze FC, while Hoima City Stadium will host Kitara FC and Blacks Power FC during the first round.
