Ntugasaze FC President Mr. Yossam Ntegereje has demonstrated strong solidarity with newly promoted FUFA Big League side SC Volcanoes after purchasing the club’s official jersey for UGX 1 million.
Ntegereje made the gesture during a meeting with SC Volcanoes President Dr. Martin Mbonye at Kira Road Stadium, where the two football leaders exchanged ideas and discussed ways of strengthening ties between their respective clubs.
Dr. Mbonye warmly commended Ntegereje for his generous support, describing the UGX 1 million jersey purchase as a meaningful show of solidarity and commitment to the growth of football.
The gesture comes as SC Volcanoes prepare for their debut campaign in the FUFA Big League, following their promotion from the Western Regional League . Whereas Ntugasaze fc also preparing for their promoted Uganda premier league.
Ntegereje asserted that he is proud to see a football team from his home place making steady progress in Uganda’s football emphasising in the need of supporting the young fast growing sc volcanoes as it prepares for the big league.
Meanwhile, Ntegereje’s support highlights the growing spirit of collaboration among Ugandan football clubs and their leaders, demonstrating that football partnerships can extend beyond competition on the pitch and contribute to the wider development of the game.
