Simon Peter Mugerwa’s Blacks Power continued with their perfect start to the 2026/27 campaign with a third consecutive win on Tuesday.
The newly promoted side came from a goal down to stun Maroons 2-1 at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
Mugerwa’s men began the season with two identical 1-0 victories over Ntugasaze and Police FC.
Ali Ismael gave the hosts the lead in the 37th minute after being fed by Brian Nkuubi to head into the halftime breather with a narrow lead.
Five minutes after the recess, Andrew Noll Ogwal restored parity for the visitors after being assisted by Innocent Maduka.
Richard Oscar Otim completed the comeback with the second goal for the Lira based side in the 67th minute.
Blacks Power are now second on the Uganda Premier League table after their third consecutive win with nine points from three games same as leaders BUL FC who beat Ntugasaze 4-1 in the other game on Tuesday.
Elsewhere, KCCA FC continued to stumble with a goalless draw away to newly promoted side Kigezi Homeboyz at Rwamwanja Stadium in Kamwenge.
