    Lavagne names Vipers travelling Squad to Rwanda for 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup

    Vipers SC head coach Denis Lavagne has named the travelling squad to Rwanda for the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup.

    The Venoms held their last training session at Kitende before their departure scheduled in the wee hours of Wednesday.

    New signings including Gabonese goalkeeper Loyce Mbaba, Farouk Miya, Nicholas Mwere, Joel Sserunjogi, Cesar Manzoki make the squad.

    Defender Jacques Mangoba who recently joined the Venoms in this transfer window is not part of the squad to Rwanda.

    Former Mawokota Ssaza team captain Amour Munogera also makes the squad to Rwanda’s capital.

    Vipers will begin their campaign on Friday 24th July against Garde Republicaine before their encounter against Kenya’s Gor Mahia with the game slated for Monday, 27th July. They will end their group stage campaign against Rwanda’s APR FC on Thursday, 30th July.

    Loyce Mbaba, Denis Kiggundu, Jack Komakech

    Defenders:

    Hilary Mukundane, Kevin Dasylva,
    Rogers Torach, Patrick Mbowa, Ashraf Mandela, Nicholas Mwere, Derrick Ndahiro

    Midfielders:

    Joel Sserunjogi, Amour Munongera,
    Marvin Youngman, Karim Watambala, Farouk Miya, Odili Chukwuma, Usama Arafat

    Forwards:

    Cesar Manzoki, Gusto Mulongo,
    Yunus Sentamu, Isaac Ogwang, Beyuku Goldi, Milton Karisa, Annest Ankunda
