    Kigezi HomeBoyz and Blacks Power have sealed promotion to the Uganda Premier League with two games to the climax of the season.

    Kigezi HomeBoyz needed a 2-0 win over Blacks Power at KHB Al Madinah Stadium to secure promotion on Sunday.

    A brace from Dominic Abonga saw Kigezi overcome fellow promoted side.

    With both sides now level on 51 points at the top of the standings are assured of top tier football next season. They are both guaranteed promotion mathematically even if they fail to maximize points in their remaining two games.

    Four teams will be promoted to the Uganda Premier League this term.

    Meanwhile, fifth-placed Paidha Black Angels played to a goalless draw with Onduparaka, a result that also confirmed Kigezi HomeBoyz and Blacks Power promotion. Paidha is now on 44 points.

    Kigaezi under the stewardship of Sadick Ssempigi gain Topflight football for the first time in their history while Blacks Power return to the UPL after two seasons.

    Ntugasaze FC also increased their chances of promotion with a 2-0 win at Bright Stars to move into third place while Kataka were held to a 1-1 draw away to Kiyinda Boys.
