Regional League entity Happy Boyz Kagaba took another step forward in their remarkable Stanbic Uganda Cup journey after ejecting Six O’clock in the clash of two lower division sides at Kagaba Primary School playgrounds in Kassanda on Monday.

In a competition traditionally dominated by historic powerhouses, Happy Boyz Kagaba have emerged as the breakout story of the Stanbic Uganda Cup this term.

The Kassanda based side, eliminated Six O’clock 5-4 on penalties after a goalless stalemate to reach the quarterfinal of the 52nd edition of the Uganda Cup, confirming their status as the tournament’s ultimate dark horse.

Happy Boyz Kagaba will now await their next opponents in the competition with the round of 16 stage set to continue on Tuesday, 17th March 2026.

On Tuesday, MTN Omondi will witness a double header as NEC FC takes on Lugazi FC in the early kickoff before KCCA FC battle Onduparaka at 7Pm.

On Wednesday, Vipers SC will host Iganga United at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende while Kitara will battle with Bunyaruguru United Royal Park in Butema.

SC Villa will lock horns with Maroons FC at FUFA Kadiba Stadium on Thursday at 8PM.

The round of 16 will climax on Friday with a double header at Nakivubo that will see URA FC take on Tapoh at 3PM before Express FC host Red Devo at the same venue at 7Pm.

If the scores remain tied at the end of normal time, kicks from the spot will decide the teams that progress to the quarterfinals. (No extra time).
