    Five pick nomination forms for SC Villa Presidency

    Five individuals have picked nomination forms to contest for SC Villa presidency with the elections due this month.

    The five persons are Joseph Muguluma Mbazzi, Incumbent Hajji Omar Ahmed Hussein, Bulezi Kawuma, Denis Ssebugwawo Mbidde and Hajji Farouk Meywa.

    David GOMBEFive individuals have picked nomination forms to contest for SC Villa presidency with the elections due this month.

    The development was confirmed by the chairperson of the Sports Club Villa electoral commission Brian Kajubi on Thursday evening at Kulambiro in Kampala.

    Mbidde

    Kajubi, a sports promised to conduct a fair and transparent electoral process.

    “The SC Villa electoral commission shall comply with the electoral laws with fairness and transparence. We deliver a peaceful and democratic electoral process. We shall not bow to external forces. We shall be guided by the legal instruments, Sports Club Villa electoral code. We are competent and confident” Kajubi stated

    The elections are slated for 22nd March with 7th March as the deadline for returning of nominations forms.

    Meywa

    The club Trustees will conduct the vetting process on 8th March while 10th March 2026 is when complaints are to be handled by the club’s ADHOC Committee.

    Villa has previously won the Uganda Premier league  title a record 17 times in 1982,1984,1986,1987,1988, 1989,1990,1992,1994,1998,1999,2000,2001,2002,2002-2003, 2003-2004 and 2023/24.
