Express FC have completed the signing of midfielder Gift Ali Abubaker on a two year contract.
Gigi, as commonly known, returns to the Uganda Premier League following a stint in Tanzania with Coastal Union FC.
Gigi is a former KCCA FC, Proline and Police FC midfielder who rose to the scene with Arua Central in 2009 before captaining the national U20 team in 2012.
He becomes the umpteenth signing of the Red Eagles who have swiftly made moves to replace the departed players in the ongoing transfer window.
Express FC have also signed left-back Shafik Lugolobi on loan from URA FC as earlier reported by this website.
The Jimmy Kintu coached side will face Entebbe UPPC FC in their subsequent league game on Valentine’s Day at Nakivubo.
