MultiChoice Uganda, a CANAL+ owned company, has announced a new campaign offering DStv and GOtv subscribers who remain connected throughout January and February a complimentary upgrade. This offer reflects MultiChoice Uganda’s commitment to enriching the lives of its customers by delivering the best entertainment.

Titled ‘We Got You’, the initiative focuses on the period when life begins to accelerate – school runs resume, budgets tighten, and families seek simple solutions to make the year feel lighter. To meet this need, DStv and GOtv are offering subscribers even greater value: pay for your usual package and enjoy an upgrade to more entertainment at no additional cost.

From 01 January to 28 February, active subscribers, reconnecting customers and new DStv and GOtv subscribers who pay for their package in full will automatically be upgraded to the next package as MultiChoice’s way of saying “We Got You.”

Speaking about the promotion, Rinaldi Jamugisa, the PR and Communications Manager at MultiChoice Uganda emphasized the importance of appreciating the support the subscribers give the business as they enter a new year.

“This upgrade is our way of appreciating the families who choose DStv and GOtv every day,” Jamugisa said. Adding: “We want our subscribers to step into the year with a sense of hope and real value. When you pay for your DStv or GOtv package, we give you more – more channels, more moments to enjoy together and more reasons to keep watching.”

According to Nellie Mwanda, the Senior Manager Customer Value Management at MultiChoice Uganda, “Subscribers can pay or reconnect using the MyDStv or MyGOtv App, mobile money (where available), banks and ATMs, USSD, card payments or walk-in agents.”

She adds, “Each option is quick, familiar and made to keep you connected without hassle. Just pick the path that works for you – and the upgrade follows.”

The MultiChoice audience values convenience, affordability and simple wins – and this offer delivers exactly that. With more channels opening up for the same payment, homes get to enjoy more of what they love without doing anything extra

Stay connected and make the most of your DStv and GOtv experience – because We Got You.
