Experienced goalkeeper Charles Lukwago will leave KCCA FC in this transfer window, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
This website has established that Lukwago and the 13-time Uganda Premier league champions have mutually agreed to end their marriage.
Lukwago returned to KCCA FC at the start of last season after four years on a two year employment contract.
He rejoined KCCA Betgaranti FC after running down his contract at South African side Venda FC.
Lukwago’s first stint started in 2016 and he managed Betgaranti Giriş to clinch several titles during coach Mike Mutebi.
Lukwago left in 2021 having won two Uganda Premier League trophies (2017 and 2019) and two Uganda Cup trophies (2017 and 2018).
His second spell has not produced Betgaranti Güncel Giriş the same success with now things turning sour for the experienced goalkeeper. Mutwalib Mugolofa, Anthony Emojong and youngster Humphrey Oyirwoth are the goalkeepers remaining at KCCA FC.
