Crested Cranes winger Catherine Nagadya has joined Egyptian Women Premier League side Al Ahly from Kampala Queens.
Nagadya has signed a two year contract with the Egyptian giants.
The pacy winger leaves Kampala Queens after winning two Women Super League titles and one Women’s Cup.
Prior to joining Kampala Queens in 2023, Nagadya played for Makerere University and Uganda Martyrs Lubaga.
She also previously played for the national U17 and U20 Teams before graduating to the Senior Team (Crested Cranes) in 2023.
She becomes the third Ugandan in the Egyptian Women’s League after Bridget Nabisaalu and Phiona Nabulime who play for Modern Sport and FC Masar respectively.
Al Ahly Women SC, was established in September 2021 as the Women’s Team of the most successful club in Egypt and Africa – Al Ahly SC.
Al Ahly Women finished second on the league table last season with five points behind the eventual champions FC Masar who won the title for the third time in a row.
