    Bayiga extends stay at NEC FC

    Defender Patrick Bayiga has renewed his employment contract with Uganda Premier League side NEC FC, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

    Bayiga joined NEC FC at the start of the 2024/25 season on a two year deal that expired this month. This website has established that the defender has signed a new two year deal with the Bugolobi based side.

    David GOMBEDefender Patrick Bayiga has renewed his employment contract with Uganda Premier League side NEC FC, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

    Several clubs outside the country were interested in Bayiga’s signature but has now settled his future with NEC FC

    Before joining NEC FC, Bayiga had spent the last five seasons at Maroons FC having joined them at the start of the 2018/19 season.

    NEC FC had versatile player Joseph Dhata leave in this transfer window joining South Sudan side Jamus SC on two year employment contract.

    Under the stewardship of Badru Kaddu Mukasa, NEC FC finished fifth on the Uganda Premier league table in the just concluded season with 53 points.
