Bright Anukani has joined Uganda Premier League side Entebbe UPPC, Swift Sports Uganda can reliably confirm.
The exciting midfielder has reunited with his former coach at KCCA FC, Abdullah Mubiru, on a two-year employment contract.
Anukani leaves KCCA FC after a disappointing second stint. At the end of the 2024/25 season the club wished to part ways with him despite him remaining with two years on his contract.
However, without compensation, Anukani who has also featured for Proline and KCCA refused to leave and was put in the club’s list for the second round of last season.
The former Proline FC and Vipers attacker has now decided to join Entebbe UPPC despite interest from other Uganda Premier League entities.
At Entebbe UPPC, Anukani is expected to add creativity and experience to Mubiru’s midfield as the Entebbe based side looks to cement to have a competitive 2026/27 campaign.
