Vipers SC were officially crowned champions of the 2025/26 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season following a commanding 2-0 victory over Express FC at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, sealing the club’s eighth league title and successfully defending their crown in front of jubilant supporters.

As one of the club’s key partners, Plascon joined the celebrations at Kitende, marking another milestone in a partnership that continues to grow both on and off the pitch. The title-winning season further reinforces the shared ambition between the two brands to champion consistency, excellence, resilience, and leadership within Ugandan sport.

The final day triumph saw Vipers finish the season on 67 points, five ahead of second-placed KCCA FC, capping off an impressive campaign defined by discipline, strong performances, and consistency throughout the season. The trophy was officially handed over in a colorful ceremony attended by FUFA officials, league representatives, sponsors, club leadership, and fans who filled the stadium to celebrate the achievement.

Speaking following the trophy handover, Benjamin Bicung, Marketing Coordinator at Plascon, commended the club for another historic achievement and highlighted the importance of the partnership in promoting sporting excellence in Uganda.

“We are extremely proud to celebrate this Uganda Premier League triumph together with Vipers SC. Defending the title is never easy, and this achievement reflects the club’s discipline, ambition, consistency, and winning mentality, values that strongly align with the Plascon brand. Over the years, this partnership has grown beyond sponsorship into a shared journey of excellence, and it is rewarding to see the club continue to raise the standard of Ugandan football both locally and on the continental stage.”

He added that the partnership continues to reflect the brand’s belief in the power of sport to inspire and unite communities across the country.

“At Plascon, we believe football has the power to unite communities, inspire young people, and create strong emotional connections with fans across the country. That is why our partnership with Vipers SC remains important to us. We congratulate the players, technical team, management, and especially the fans whose support has been incredible throughout the season. As Plascon, we remain committed to supporting platforms that promote excellence, passion, and national pride.”

The championship adds another successful chapter to the growing relationship between Plascon and Vipers SC, a partnership that has consistently leveraged football as a platform to engage communities, celebrate ambition, and inspire the next generation of Ugandan talent.
