    Buganda Kingdom reveals crucial Dates for 2026 Masaza Cup Tourney

    The Buganda Kingdom has confirmed the crucial dates for the 2026 Masaza Cup tournament.

    According to the Kingdom’s Sports calendar the 2026 Masaza Cup tourney will be launched on 10th June and will officially kickoff on the 13th of the same month.

    The final of the 2026 prestigious event will be played on 31st October, 2026 as by the Buganda Kingdom Sports calendar.

    Buweekula are the reigning competition champions following their historic 1-0 win over two time winners Ssingo.

    Buweekula who were under the stewardship of Felix Ssekabuuza overcame Ssingo 1-0 in the final that was played at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo to clinch their maiden title.

    Gomba are the record champions with five championships followed by Mawokota, Buddu and Bulemeezi who have won the event three times respectively.
