FUFA has officially paid out all prize money for the 2025/26 Stanbic Uganda Cup, with non-league giant-killers The Football Classroom FC among the beneficiaries.
Winners Kitara FC pocketed UGX 50 million after clinching their second Stanbic Uganda Cup title, beating nine-time champions SC Villa 2-1 in the final. The victory earned the Royals a ticket to represent Uganda in the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup, where they will face Egyptian giants Al Ahly in the final round of qualification.
Runners-up SC Villa took home UGX 25 million, while semi-finalists URA FC and Vipers SC each received UGX 12 million.
FUFA confirmed that all 28 other clubs that featured in the competition have also been cleared, including fifth-tier side The Football Classroom FC, who made a spirited run to the Round of 32 before being eliminated by Onduparaka FC.
Kitara clinched their second Stanbic Uganda Cup trophy after beating nine time competition champions SC Villa 2-1 in the final held at Njeru Technical Centre in May this year.
