Cheptegei wins bronze in Copenhagen with stunning PB

Uganda’s long-distance legend Joshua Cheptegei has won an incredible bronze medal in the men’s half marathon at the World Athletics Road Running Championships in Copenhagen.
Cheptegei clocked a new personal best of 58:25 in a remarkable performance, marking his fastest ever time over the 21.0975km distance.
In a thrilling race, Sweden’s Andreas Almgren took gold while Kenya’s Kipkorir claimed silver in what was a high-quality field.
The medal adds to Cheptegei’s illustrious collection that already includes Olympic and World titles over 5000m and 10000m, as he continues to show his class on the roads.
