Vipers SC head coach Denis Lavagne has confirmed the travelling squad to face FC Nouadhibou in the return fixture of their CAF Champions League Preliminary round due on Sunday in Mauritania.
The squad includes two goalkeepers, Loyce Mbaba and Dennis Kiggundu, while six defenders have been selected for the return fixture against the Mauritanian champions.
Following their final training session at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende, the Venoms will depart for Mauritania on Tuesday evening aboard Qatar Airways.
The defenders are Hillary Mukundane, Bady Dasylva, Ashiraf Mandela, Jacques Mangoba, Nicholas Mwere and Princewill Biweribo Tarabina.
Seven midfielders have made the cut for the trip to Mauritania. These are Abdul Karim Watambala, Patrick Mbowa, Marvin Youngman, Joel Sserunjogi, Odili Chukwuma, Farouk Miya and Usama Arafat Kizza.
Forwards include captain Milton Karisa, Yunus Sentamu, Gusto Mulongo and Cesar Manzoki.
The Venoms settled for a 1-1 stalemate with the Mauritanian side in the first leg at Kitende and will need victory in Nouakchott to progress to the next round of the qualifiers.
