Express FC have completed the signing of striker Isaac Wagoina, Swift Sports understands.
Wagoina has been a free agent after his two year contract with BUL FC expired in June.
A move to Express is a road to redemption for Wagoina who has struggled for both form and fitness during his two year spell at BUL FC.
Wagoina barely made an impact at BUL as he only scored a total of five league goals in the two seasons he spent at the club.
He joined BUL in 2024 after a stellar performance with Express that saw him score 14 goals and three assists in the 2023/24 and finished three goals behind the eventual top scorer Shaban Muhammad.
The former Busoga United and Busei United striker is expected to fill the void in the Express FC attack heading into the new season.
Express, under the tutelage of coach Morley Byekwaso, have embarked on a massive recruitment of new players following an exodus of nine squad players so far.
The club is also interested in signing former Vipers and Wakiso Giants offensive midfielder Duncan Ezekiel Sseninde who is a free agent.
