Livingstone Mulondo has completed his move to Lugazi FC on a two year contract, Swift Sports understands.
Mulondo has been a free agent after leaving Vipers upon the expiry of his employment contract a month ago.
He spent seven seasons at Vipers having joined the Venoms in 2018 and left as one of the most decorated players in the club history.
He won five Uganda Premier League titles and three Uganda Cups including two doubles in 2023 and 2025.
Mulondo reunites with Coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko who was his coach at Kirinya Jinja SS.
The duo was instrumental as Kirinya Jinja SS (Busoga United) earned promotion to the topflight league in the 2015/16 season.
Mulondo is highly expected to forge a formidable defensive partnership with the team captain Richard Ayiko who recently signed a new contract with the club.
He brings experience, leadership and aggressiveness into the Lugazi defense heading into the upcoming season.
Lugazi have so far signed Louis Anguti Amagu, Jamaldin Buchochera, Christopher Birungi, Frank Mulimi, Tonny Kyamera, Vicent Zziwa, Musa Ssali and Emmanuel Munoobi.
Restructuring continues at the club with Alfred Leku, Derrick Mwanje, Freedom Mungudit, Rogers Atube and Yusuf Sharif Saaka among others seeing the exit door.
