Marvin Nyanzi has confirmed his departure from Express FC ahead of his imminent transfer to URA FC.
Nyanzi joined Express in the mid-season transfer as a free agent on a two year contract.
” Grateful for the chapter that has ended Express FC thank you and I’ll always appreciate the memories,” Nyanzi tweeted.
He played 14 games for the Red Eagles and scored one goal in the process coupled with flashes of impressive individual performances.
Nyanzi is a former Kitara FC and Wakiso Giants offensive midfielder who rose to the scene with Kajjansi United and Masaza Cup side Buddu.
He will be reuniting with coach Jimmy Kintu Mwera who was his coach at Express FC in the closing stages of last season.
URA FC have already signed Muhammed Kyeyune from Entebbe UPPC and Elvis Ssekajugo from Express FC.
Goalkeeper Hafiz Kassim and Mikdad Ssenyonga are other Express FC players on the verge of joining URA.
