The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) President Eng. Moses Magogo has congratulated Vipers SC and Kawempe Muslim Ladies Football Club upon their respective league triumphs.
Vipers were crowned Uganda Premier League champions after finishing top of the table with 67 points while Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC who the FUFA Women’s Super League with 52 points while She Corporate FC settled for second place on 51 points.
Magogo’s congratulatory message to the Venoms,
“On behalf of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations, I extend my warmest congratulations to Vipers Sports Club for successfully defending the Uganda Premier League title 2025/26 season.
This title is the result of the determination of everyone involved and my congratulations go to the club leadership, the players, the coach, the entire technical staff, sponsors and the fans. We wish you continued success as you represent Uganda in the upcoming season.” Read the message
This is the eighth league title that the Venoms have won after previous wins in 2009/10, 2014/15, 2017/18, 2019/20, 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2024/25.
Magogo’s message to Kawempe Muslim triumph,
“I extend my warmest congratulations ot Kawempe Muslim Ladies Football Club for winning the 2025/26 FUFA Women Super League title on the final day of the season. This title is the result of the determination of everyone involved, and my congratulations go to the club leadership, the players, the coach, the entire technical staff, sponsors and the we wish you continued success as you represent Uganda in the upcoming season. Yours in football,” Hon,Magogo Moses Hassim President FUFA.
This was the sixth league title in the history of Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and their second since the competition was renamed the FUFA Women Super League in 2019.
It should be noted that FUFA 2nd Vice President Dr. Azah Taibu presided over both trophy handover ceremonies.
